Hello, I’m Mrs. Hoskins and I’m completely ecstatic to be at VRH this year as your Biology teacher. I worked in my field for nearly a decade before entering education over 15 years ago. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, focusing on Limnology, hold a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and currently seeking my specialist. I believe the best teachers are excited about their content area, show compassion for young people, and ultimately create an environment where every attempt is made to provide conditions for students to learn while the teacher becomes progressively unnecessary.  At home, I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for 16 years, and together we have three amazing kiddos. Our two sons are 15 and 13, and our daughter is now 11. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, painting and fabricating, and snuggling up with my two fluffy kitties.
