My name is Austin Barron. I graduated from Heard County High School then played football for four years at The University of West Georgia. I started my teaching and coaching career at Cedartown High School before moving to VRHS in 2021. My wife Cali and I have a daughter, Wrigley. In addition to teaching and coaching, I am involved with the FCA and Chick-fil-A Leadership program here at VRHS. I served as the defensive coordinator and head strength coach for two years. During those two years, we won one region title and made an elite 8 appearance in football, and we were state champions and state runner ups in weight lifting. It has been a great pleasure to be apart of the Carroll County school system and to chase premier in all that we do.
