 Talley Signs With Atlanta Sports Academy

 Taylor Signs With Atlanta Sports Academy

 Gates Signs With University of Louisville



VRHS Wildcat senior thrower Patrice Gates signs to continue her track and field career with the University of Louisville.  While at VRHS, Gates was the State Champion in the discus her freshman year, the discus and shot put her sophomore year, and the shot put her junior year.  During her senior year, she won the National Scholastic Indoor Championships in the shot put in March and she qualified for the state meet in the shot put by winning the Region 5-AAAA Girls Championship in the shot put while also meeting the National Silver Standard.  Shown above are (seated, left to right) Patricia Gates, mother; Patrice Gates, signee; and Frances Dobbs, grandmother.  Standing behind Patrice are (left to right) Alicia and Alexia Lucas, nieces, and standing in the rear are (left to right) Josh Miller, Girls' Track Head Coach; Perry Eugene Gates, Sr., father; Perry Eugene Gates, Jr., brother; and Dennis Brown, VRHS Principal.  The University of Louisville is very excited that Patrice will be a part of their track and field team, as you can read HERE.

 Springer Signs With Coffeyville Community College



VRHS Wildcat senior defensive lineman Jeremy Springer signs to continue his football career with Coffeyville Community College in Coffeyville, Kansas.  While at VRHS, Springer was a three-year starter on the defensive line, he was named twice to the Times-Georgian All Area Team, he was named twice to the All-Region 5AAAA Team, and he was named Team Captain for the 2009 season.  Shown above are (seated, left to right) Tonya Springer, mother; Jeremy Springer, signee; Mike Springer, Jr., brother; and Mike Springer, Sr., father.  Standing behind them are VRHS Principal Dennis Brown and VRHS Head Football Coach Rob Cleveland.

 Daniell Signs with Kennesaw State University
