 Important Info Regarding 100 Hall

The demolition of the 100 Hall building (and the subsequent construction of the new building) is underway.  For parents, students, and teachers alike, there are several important things everyone needs to know:

The asbestos removal is being handled by a Certified Asbestos Abatement Company.  The safety of our students is our first priority, and there will be signs posted throughout the building to ensure that everyone is kept safe.

The 100 Hall will be off limits.  No student or staff member will have access during construction.

The front drive will remain open for now from 7:45 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. for drop off and 3:15 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. for pick up.  Parents, please be aware that further changes to the front drive's availability will be coming, so please check back to the school's website for updates and please anticipate further changes.

Students will be routed through the 400 Hall, the Courtyard, and other outside areas as they change classes.

Students will not be permitted to use the sidewalk in the front of the school at all during construction.

Parents, if you have any questions, please feel free to call the school at (770) 459-5185.

 H1N1 Virus Information

In an effort to help decrease the spread of any virus (including H1N1 and the seasonal flu), please remember these simple steps:

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after use.

Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze.  Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.

Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way.

Avoid close contact with sick people.

Parents - If your child gets sick, please keep them home from school and limit contact with others. If your child is ill and has recently traveled to an area affected by swine flu, or has been in contact with someone who has been infected with swine flu, contact your child’s healthcare provider immediately.
